Please join us this Wednesday, September 22 at noon the East Lake Public Library, 2727 E. Lake St., Minneapolis, for this month’s Brown Bag Lunch conversation. This week, we welcome Cyn Collins and Dwight Hobbes, two veteran music journalists who have contributed to the Twin Cities Daily Planet since its 2005 founding. Cyn Collins is author of West Bank Boogie, the definitive oral history of music on Minneapolis’s West Bank; and Dwight Hobbes has written about music and theater for every publication from the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder to Mpls.St.Paul magazine. In a conversation moderated by Daily Planet arts editor Jay Gabler, Cyn and Dwight will talk about their decades covering the Twin Cities music scene and the changes they’ve seen in music and in journalism.
P.S. You can support this program by donating to the Twin Cities Media Alliance.
