Church supper season is here! Tell me about your favorites

Biking down Franklin Ave. yesterday, I spotted this sign in front of Bethany Lutheran Church, 2511 E. Franklin, advertising its all-you can eat $5 spaghetti dinner on Thursday, October 29, which reminded me that this is the start of church supper season. Jim “Nordblad” Harris maintains a terrific online list of lutfisk suppers at http://www.lutfiskloverslifeline.com/, but the world of church suppers is a lot bigger than just smelly preserved cod. If you know of any upcoming church (or synagogue or mosque or even American Legion) suppers that you want the world to know about, please post them as comments on this list. I’m cross-posting this article on my TCFoodies.com blog, so unless you object, I’ll cross-post your suggestions as well.
