2020 Taiwanese Lunar New Year Celebration!

親愛的同鄉朋友們大家好，
距離我們的新年晚會只剩下一個禮拜了！如果還沒報名的朋友，請盡快報名！
提早祝大家鼠年好運、諸事吉祥！明州台灣同鄉會及明大台灣同學會敬邀各位參加2020的農曆年聯歡晚會。晚會時間為1月25日下午3點到晚上7點半。地點在明大聖保羅校區學生中心的North Star Ballroom舉辦。
今年我們將準備豐盛的新年大餐， 精彩的表演節目，以及抽獎獎品和紅包，與同鄉朋友一起共慶鼠年。同時，為讓同鄉重溫台灣新年感，我們也會準備新年相關的民俗遊戲和文化攤位，像是做燈籠和寫春聯等，讓大家一起過一個老少咸宜的快樂鼠年！
台灣駐芝加哥辦事處當日也將會提供僑胞卡申請(請帶上綠卡影本或是美國護照影本)和文件收取等事務，仔細的領務事務可以聯絡芝加哥辦事處領務組的電話：312-297-1301 – 03.

Dear friends and members,
The Year of the Rat is just around the corner! The TAAMN and the TSA will host our Taiwanese lunar new year celebration on January 25, 2020 at the St. Paul Student Center, UMN, from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Please see the bottom for an outline of the schedule.
In addition to our customary dinner, performance and door-prize, the celebration also features a series of Taiwanese games and cultural activities with a new year theme. With lantern making, couplet writing and more, we hope to evoke the festive times during Lunar New Year in Taiwan.
TECO-Chicago will be here to provide Overseas Compatriot Card (OCC) service and take documentation back to Chicago. For detail information, please contact 312-297-1301 – 03.
The early bird tickets are only available until January 20. TAAMN and TSA members are eligible for additional ticket discount and entitled to the exclusive door prize drawing. If you have not, we strongly encourage to sign up for membership when registering for the event (see below for online instruction).
