Basant Punjabi Kite Festival

PSA-UMN and ISA-UMN are back with Basant 2019!
The Basant Kite Festival has been a historic spring time kite flying event during the Basant Panchami festival in the Punjab region in India and Pakistan. According to the Punjabi calendar it is held on the fifth day of lunar month of Magha (in late January or early February) marking the start of spring.
Join us on Friday April 19th, 2019 from 2-5 PM outside of Memorial Union (Front Lawn) for kite flying, food and fun! We will have a traditional Indian/Pakistani lunch, and both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items will be served (while supplies last).
