Synopsis
Romain works in a small Paris hotel. While he doesn’t know it yet, he’s about to become a novelist… His grandmother Madeleine is six decades older than him. Surprisingly, the age gap between them doesn’t mean a thing: they mesh like magic.
One day, Madeleine escapes from the nursing home where she was sent against her will by her sons (including Romain’s father Michel). So Romain asks his employer for a leave and joins Madeleine in Etretat. Together they have a wonderful day in the town of Madeleine’s youth…

Résumé
Romain a 23 ans. Il aimerait être écrivain mais, pour l’instant, il est veilleur de nuit dans un hôtel. Son père a 62 ans. Il part à la retraite et fait semblant de s’en foutre. Sa grand-mère a 85 ans. Elle se retrouve en maison de retraite et se demande ce qu’elle fait avec tous ces vieux.
Un jour son père débarque en catastrophe. Sa grand-mère a disparu. Elle s’est évadée en quelque sorte. Romain part à sa recherche, quelque part dans ses souvenirs…
