Alliance Française Fête des Rois Piano Recital

Celebrate Fête des Rois with Live Music and La Galette!
Join us for a slice of Galette des Rois to kick off the new year… and maybe find la fève so you can wear la couronne ! The program will begin with a short classical recital by Jim Reilly, piano and tenor, and Béatrice Giere, piano, followed by the serving of galette des rois and the crowning of our roi ou reine .
The recital will include French music by Reynaldo Hahn and Adolphe Adam (including “Cantique de Noël), and a surprise solstice piece (even if a bit late for the December solstice!) written by Jim himself.
Proceeds from this event will be split between two causes; to benefit the Piano Fund of Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul, dedicated to the upkeep of our beautiful baby grand Steinway, and to benefit the general programs and operations of AFMSP in our new home.
$20 AF members, $30 General Public
