Gayageum Traditional Korean Music Performance

Soo Jin Lee is a new instructor at MacPhail and will be offering lessons (group and individual) on Saturdays.

Soo Jin will talk about the history of the gayageum and a little about traditional Korean music. She will perform a selection of beloved Korean songs, such as Arirang (아리랑), Sanjo (가야금 산조) and Chimhyangmoo (침향무). She will also answer a few questions after the 30-40 minute performance. Please come if you are interested in learning more about traditional Korean music and the gayageum.
