Immigrant and Labor History: A Walking Tour of Payne Avenue

East Side Freedom Library and St. Paul Public Schools Community Education invite you to “Immigrant and Labor History: A Walking Tour of Payne Avenue, Past and Present,” Saturday, August 5, 10am–12:00pm.

Join Peter Rachleff, Co-Executive Director of the East Side Freedom Library, for a walking tour that explores the present through the lens of the past. We will go to lower Payne Avenue, across the street from Yarusso Brothers, overlooking Swede Hollow, and we will walk approximately 2 miles. We will rest and talk at the Library. There is a suggested $25 registration fee. Space is limited. Please call Community Ed at 651-744-3072 to register.
