Introduction to Gamelan Class

If you have never played gamelan, or if you would like to brush up on the basics, this class is for you! Participants will learn how to play the structure and melody instruments while getting a grounding in the gamelan forms and structures. No previous musical experience is necessary. Participants are welcome to stay for continuing gamelan class 7:45-9:15 at no additional charge.
Introductory gamelan • Wednesdays 6-7:30 p.m. • $60 fee
Classes April 11, 18, 25; May 2, 9, 16
Term will be extended to May 23 if a class is unexpectedly cancelled
