* Shahrzad Amadi, professor of history, University of St. Thomas, speaking on the recent history of US-Iran relations, and the effects of sanctions.
* William Beeman, chair of the anthropology department, University of Minnesota, author of “The Great Satan Vs. the Mad Mullahs: How the United States and Iran Demonize Each Other.”
* Arash Mahnan, graduate student, University of Minnesota, speaking on: An Iranian Student’s experiences in the United States.
A panel discussion and question and answer period will follow the presentations.
