Julglädje – Join in the Fest! at the American Swedish Institute
What better way for the family to celebrate the Thanksgiving weekend than with songs, stories, games and smiles that are the hallmarks of “Julglädje” (Christmas joy). These join-in “joy at any time” musical story performances are hosted by popular performer Ross Sutter.
Saturday, November 25 at noon and 2 p.m.
Sunday, November 26 at 1 p.m.
Ross and Marya Hart on piano and Cheryl Paschke on nycleharpa and fiddle play a rollicking collection of Swedish and American holiday tunes. Rose Arrowsmith-Decoux leads the action, inviting the kids to become a part of a creative, adventurous and interactive story set to music.
TICKETS: $5 ASI adult member; $6 non-member adult; $3 kids 6-17 / FREE for kids under 6. Advance tickets recommended.
