Live Qawwali Performance -Fareed Ayaz & Abu Muhammad Ensemble

After a sold out performance last year, Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad, along with their troupe, are back to perform their finest compositions of mystical Sufi music (also known as Qawwali).

What distinguishes Qawwali from other genres of music is it’s exclusive focus on the expression of Divine or Spiritual Love. The troupe is one of the leading performers of Qawwali and traces its musical lineage to Amir Khusro (1253-1325 A.D.), who was the creator of this genre of music and a great Sufi in his own right.
