Native Community Opening: Hearts of Our People

The Native community is invited to join us for activities that celebrate this exhibition, “Hearts of Our People: Native Women Artists” and the women who made it possible, before the exhibition opens to the general public. Help us honor the beauty and strength of Native women and their art with activities designed to be enjoyed with friends and families. This event is free and open to all members of the Native community and their guests, no registration necessary. Free exhibition admission is included in this event.
Event Timeline:
10am Blessing, opening words, and music
10am “Hearts of Our People” opens for the Native community (the rest of the museum is open to everyone)
11am–12:30pm Feast for Native Community
1–4pm Symposium (sold out)
5pm Museum closes
