Beer Steins, Norteñas, Food and Fun = Oktubrefest Beer and Weekend Festival at La Doña Cerveceria
Our Oktubrefest beer recognizes German contributions to Latinx culture by combing German Hops, German Malt, Mexican Lager Yeast, and Flaked Rye.
For the Weekend festivities we will be selling limited edition Beer Steins featuring the Oktubrefest La Doña logo.

Influenced by his father’s German heritage Head Brewer Dicky Lopez conceived of the festival to enjoy one of his favorite parties of the year. Dicky’s own roots in beer making is in part inspired by hIs grandparents who brewed beer as a part of the farm chores on their Chokio, Minnesota farm.
German influence in Latin America extends beyond beer.
Northern Mexican Norteñas and Conjuntos feature accordion and polka rhythms derived from German immigrants to Southern Texas.
