The first lady of Cuban jazz has been performing for over six decades and became an international phenomenon after her appearances on the 1996 album and in the blockbuster film ‘The Buena Vista Social Club’.
Vocalist Omara Portuondo transports audiences to another time and place with a performance style that has often been compared to the likes of Billie Holiday and Edith Piaf, but with a fiery Cuban flair.
