Pangea World Theater: Where We Began: Home

Please join us for an evening dance performance featuring a duet and two solo works by Arts Organizing Fellow, Alys Ayumi Ogura, and event collaborator, Amal Rogers. Ogura and Rogers will be joined on stage by attendees of The Movements That We Make Our Own, a dance workshop that will be held on February 10th.

Where We Began: Home reflects deeply on the origin of our movements, or our “home”—the point from where our movements originate, regardless of dance or movement type. Each of us is different, so each person’s “home” dictates that person’s unique movements.

This event is the culmination of a two part project designed by Alys Ayumi Ogura as part of Pangea’s 2017-18 Arts Organizing Institute.
