Permission to Narrate: stories of resilience from seven decades

September 23, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

To mark the 35 years since the massacres at Sabra and Shatila and the 50 years since the Naksa (the 1967 War), and in honor of nearly 70 years of occupation of Palestine, join Mizna for an evening of story sharing followed by a Ismail Khalidi’s play Sabra Falling, presented by Pangea World Theater. The wonderful Professor Joe Farag will be moderating the event.

This event is free and open to the public but you can buy tickets to Sabra Falling here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3074477

Members of the local Palestinian community are invited to share their personal and familial stories and members of the broader community are welcome to attend as allies. If you are interested in telling a story RSVP here: http://ow.ly/40z330falp0
