Sabaidee: Flavors of Laos

LSA invites you to Sabaidee: Flavors of Laos, our biggest event of the fall semester. Interact with different aspects of Lao culture, boun-style!

In Lao culture, “boun” is a term that is used to describe a festival, where people enjoy themselves by visiting different stands and eating food. We’re recreating this experience in The Whole, with our own booths and activities spread around for you to learn more about Laos different regions! The booths will demonstrate the differences and culture of Laos’ three main regions, Northern, Central, and Southern. Not only will we have booths but we will also be showcasing Lao Traditional Dance and some beautiful Lao singing. Make sure to stop by so you can experience Lao culture right here in Minnesota.
