Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami Celebration 2020

In partnership with the Hindu Society of Minnesota, KDT cordially invites you to its 2020 celebration of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami! The annual festival honors the goddess of knowledge, music and art while ushering in the first day of the spring. Events includes a religious ceremony, opportunities for art-making, community music and dance performances, and more. All are welcome!
THE SCHEDULE:
9 – 9:30 am: Preparation for the ritual (a fun opportunity for families to work together in art-making)
9:30 – 10:30 am: Worship ritual (Saraswati Puja) guided by Temple Priests
10 – 11 am: Community performance
11 am – 11:50 am: Katha Dance Theatre showcase performance
The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be available (for a small fee) following the celebration. Hope to see you there!
