Spring Notes 2019 (Chinese Music Showcase)

Here comes our annual showcase: Spring Notes 2019 (10th anniversary of Oriental Music Club). We’re hosting this concert to appreciate everyone’s support to Chinese music and culture at the UMN over the years. We will perform Chinese traditional and pop songs with Chinese traditional instruments. Chinese food from the Kowloon restaurant will be offered. Doors open at 6pm. FREE admissions!

Guest Performer: Clay, a newly formed student band performs Chinese rock music at the opening.

Founded in 2009, Oriental Music Club is currently a nonprofit student performing group at the University of Minnesota. We perform with Chinese traditional instruments and have been aiming at promoting understanding and appreciation of East Asian culture on and outside campus.
