The Mikveh Monologues – Minnesota Jewish Theatre

Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company (MJTC) opens its 25th Anniversary Season with the dramatic reading of The Mikveh Monologues by Anita Diamant & Janet Buchwald, to be performed at Shir Tikvah. Directed by Miriam Schwartz in her directorial debut.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
A contemporary collection of inspiring monologues shares the transformative experience of the modern mikveh, a Jewish ritual bath re-imagined for modern use. This special project, in partnership with The Minnesota Community Mikveh Initiative, presents dramatic readings of women and men who have immersed in the living waters of the mikveh for healing, reflection, and revitalization. Following the readings, there will be a break for refreshments and a discussion led by Cantor Rachel Stock Spilker.
