Under the Banyan Tree: South Asian Immigrant Stories

AshaUSA invites you to a storytelling event. “Under the Banyan Tree” story project hopes to engage, educate and build fellow Minnesotans’ understanding and perceptions of South Asian Americans who call Minnesota home. As a part of this project we got over 25 story submissions that captured the various themes of the immigrant experience. We want to share these stories with you. Come and bring your family and friends. Light refreshments will be served and a short discussion will follow the program.
