Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota 2020 Tết Show

You are invited to join us and bring in the Year of the Rat at VSAM’s 2020 Tết Show!
Bringing together family, friends, food and traditions, Tết, or the Vietnamese New Year, is one of the most important holidays in Vietnamese culture. Tết this year falls on January 25th, but we invite you to join us on February 8th to bring in the new year and commemorate our elders’ experiences and past in this year’s theme: Nhớ về cha mẹ của chúng ta và những vất vả họ đã trải qua | Remembering our parents and the struggles they went through.
The event will showcase various vocal and dance performances, and a fashion show featuring designers based locally alongside the main play entitled “An Ocean Apart”: The Story of the Vietnamese-American Diaspora and the struggles between the immigrant story and their children’s.
