Swedish Christmas Julglädje – Join-In Family Performances

Songs, stories, games and smiles are the hallmarks of julglädje, translated from Swedish as “Christmas joy.” Create family memories at this annual American Swedish Institute holiday celebration hosted by performer Ross Sutter. Ross and his friends, Marya Hart on piano and Cheryl Paschke on nyckelharpa/fiddle, play a rollicking collection of Swedish and American holiday tunes, while Rose Arrowsmith DeCoux invites the younger set to become part of an adventurous and interactive musical story.
3 separate concerts: Nov. 24 at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. and Nov. 25 at 1 p.m. Please be sure to register for your chosen date and time! (The event “Tickets” link is for Nov. 24 at noon but contains links for the other two concerts 😊)
$10 ASI members / $12 non-members / $5 ages 6-17 / Free for kids under 6. Museum admission must be purchased separately.
